Government Cuts £162m of School Sport Funding

The Government plans to cut £162 million of sports funding for schools has sparked a political and sporting row. Michael Gove, the Education Secretary, has broken pledges made during the election and to the Olympics Committee. How are we supposed to tap in to London 2012 fever when school kids won't have the framework to get involved? Lots of sports stars have similar views at Mirror.co.uk and so does Adrian Warner in his BBC Blog.
